Move a Muscle, Change a Feeling

Every experience you have, even at the subconscious level, makes a physical deposit into the body. You may be carrying around baggage from weeks or years that’s weighing you down. That’s where yoga comes in.

Yoga is an invaluable process of letting go.

The practice of yoga will guide you to full awareness, and eventually release. You’ve probably heard the saying—practice and all is coming. My teacher likes to say—practice and all is going. :) Those words resonate with me because it emphasizes yoga practice is really about a deep letting go.

Yoga is a way to free the body and mind from old patterns and thoughts, leading you back to your true self.

If you approach yoga practice as a way to create space and let go, then breath by breath you can literally move a muscle, change a feeling.

”The body benefits from movement, and the mind benefits from stillness.” —Sakyong Mipham
