CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
Mysore (assisted self practice)
All levels class with one-to-one teacher guidance. Learn step by step, at your pace. We’ll work together to build your practice through a balanced approach.

Half Primary
Practice halfway through the Primary Series, wrapping-up with three simple closing postures and rest. Emphasis on breath-led movements to build strength and ease.

Foundations
You’ll be guided through the foundational standing postures of the Primary Series. Focus is on breath awareness and healthy alignment for all levels.

Hatha
Breath-centered class that blends basic postures and mindful movements. Moves at a slow and steady pace, helping you feel calm and peaceful.

Benefits of Yoga
The benefits of yoga are almost endless! A consistent practice reduces stress, strengthens your body, calms your mind, builds confidence, improves sleep, boosts immune system, increases well-being, and improves health.

What’s Ashtanga Yoga?
A healing method of yoga. The practice invites you to connect to your breath, letting your movements follow your breathing. The sequence has variations for all levels.

What’s Mysore Class?
It’s like a private lesson in a group setting. You get one-to-one attention in this class. We’ll work together to develop your personalized practice, step by step. You’ll move at your pace, practicing by following your breath. Perfect for beginners and experienced students alike.

What’s Led Class?
Students are guided together as a group through the Primary Series, or part of it. The teacher paces and counts the class (traditionally in Sanskrit). Great for enjoying moving and breathing together.

  • In the Ashtanga Yoga method, practitioners rest on moon days. Upcoming rest days for Twin Cities, MN area: December 30 (monday/new/4:26pm). January 13 (monday/full). January 29 (wed./new). February 12 (wed./full). February 27 (thursday/new).
