Yoga is love

On Valentine's Day February 14, 2001, I stepped into my first yoga class. The practice drew to me like a magnet and continues to positively enrich my life in many ways. Yoga points us inward, back to ourselves, again and again. Yoga means union; wholeness; oneness. It's the continual connection, and reconnection, to my inner self that draws me back.

Your sacred space is where you can find yourself over and over again. -joseph campbell

Yoga is not about what we can do, but rather it points us to who we can be. We may begin yoga as an external practice, for the physical benefits, but gradually practice shifts inward.

Yoga connects us to spirit, our true essence. It's a slow awakening to the light and love already within. So yes, it was fully appropriate I began this life long yoga journey on Valentine's Day, with love.

Yoga is a light, which once lit, will never dim. The better your practice, the brighter the flame.
